As announced earlier this month, Microsoft has released a whole bunch of security updates today. Below is a list and hyperlink to the released updates along with a short description:

Security Update for Windows XP (KB901017)A security issue has been identified that could allow an attacker to remotely compromise your Windows-based system using Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) and gain control over it.
Security Update for Windows XP (KB899589)A security issue has been identified in the Client Service for NetWare that could allow an attacker to compromise your Microsoft Windows-based system and gain control over it, if you have installed this service.
Security Update for Windows XP (KB905749)A security issue has been identified in the Plug and Play service that could allow an authenticated attacker to compromise your Microsoft Windows-based system and gain control over it.
