New Game Patches: NHL 06, Black & White 2, Serious Sam 2
NHL 06 retail patches #2: EA Sports has released a second round of retail patches for NHL 06 to update the US and European editions of their 3D ice hockey sports sequel. This #2 upgrade improves compatibility with "Saitek P2500 and P3000 controllers" as well as "non-SSE chipsets such as the AMD Thunderbird," and also addresses an "issue with edited players saved within a game mode."
Black & White 2 retail patch v1.1: As promised, Lionhead Studios has issued the first retail patch for Black & White 2, updating their 3D god-playing strategy sequel to version 1.1. This release addresses a few remaining issues along with adding some gameplay balancing tweaks as detailed in the change notes, but it is not save-game compatible with the original game.
Serious Sam II demo & retail patches v2.064b: 2K Games sends along new patches for Serious Sam II, upgrading both the demo and retail editions of the fast-paced first-person shooter by Croteam to version 2.064b. As before, This release includes the previous multiplayer connection quick fix as well as mouse control improvements, server browser fixes, menu enhancements, a virtual keyboard fix, and other changes.
