Asus Introduces Two New Motherboards With 32 PCI Express Lanes
In accordance to the release of Nvidia's nForce 4 SLI X16 chipset, ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS) introduced the A8N32-SLI Deluxe and P5N32-SLI Deluxe motherboards, which support dual PCI Express x16 slots running at full speed to liberate graphics cards from the narrow bandwidth platform of x8 speed only.
With exclusive technologies - dual x16 PCI Express SLI graphics, the 8-Phase Power design and fan-less cooling, the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe and P5N32-SLI Deluxe motherboards deliver superior video performance, cool and quiet computing and stable and efficient power supply.
8-Phase Power Design
8-Phase Power Design reduces input ripple current and output ripple voltage, keeping the CPU and power modules from high power stress to increase component lifespan. Furthermore, it has the advantage of quick transient response. It acts faster than 4-phase power designs to stabilize output current and voltage. This is especially critical when the CPU requires immediate current support when under heavy workload.
Fanless Design – Stack Cool 2 and Copper Heat Pipe
The Fanless Design brings effective and noiseless cooling to counter the heat generated by components. Watch movies, listen to music and play games, and enjoy the peace and quiet. System damages from fan failure is also a thing of the past.
The copper Heat Pipe directs heat generated by the chipsets to the heatsink near the back I/O ports, where it can be carried away by existing airflow, while Stack Cool 2 effectively transfers heat generated by the critical components to the other side of the specially designed PCB (printed circuit board) for fast heat dissipation.
